The Bitcoin donations are stored at a secure multisig wallet.

There is an open invitation to prominent trustworthy members of the bitcoin community to be part of the cause by becoming co-signers of the multisig wallet. They will have to approve before the bitcoins are spent.

We will offer full disclosure and transparency all the way through, you can follow the account here.

The funds won’t be used immediately. At the moment the victims are receiving urgent primary care (water, food and medical support), nonetheless their lives have been decimated.

Unless we face an emergency (an event that requires urgent attention) we would like to focus our effort in rebuilding the lives of those who lost everything in this disaster.

We will travel to the affected area in the following weeks and find out what will be the best use of the funds were they are needed the most (probably building a water well).

Before spending any of the donations we will fully disclose our plan in this site, detailing how the collected funds will be spent.

The Bitcoins will have to be converted to USD locally and used to buy the necessary supplies. All the receipts will be uploaded here.

Our team will go directly to the most affected area the area to develop the project. We will make sure that those who receive your help know that it came from Bitcoin donations all around the world. 🙂
